Get to know our beach
Right outside our garden door is one of the longest beaches in Jamaica. Our own sandy beach offers not only Caribbean sun and the sound of the sea, but also shady seating under the trees. Perfect for sun worshippers or to simply take a quick refreshing dip and retreat to your own patio! Or you start with the boat directly from our beach for a cool excursion.
You’ll board at the in-house beach, explore the mangroves and their animal inhabitants – the crocodiles – and then have a “Red Stripe” at the famous Pelican Bar. Or do you want to explore the underwater world? Take the boat straight from the beach for a snorkeling excursion and back to your own garden door. There is so much to discover! A relaxing walk on the beach is a good way to explore the surrounding area in the afternoon and end the day. Our beach is very quiet and promises a lot of privacy, as there are no large hotel complexes nearby. Nevertheless, the nearest bar is only a few minutes walk away!
Every morning some fishermen moor in our sheltered bay and bring ashore the catch of the day. We are happy to offer our guests the freshest fish and delicious seafood and prepare them according to Jamaican recipes. Volker’s indescribable lobster (langoustine) with traditional festivals is worth every bite! A special highlight: From the veranda at the main house you have a perfect view of the beach and can enjoy the sunset while listening to reggae music. We love our dream beach!
